At pathao, we believe that Software Engineers, Product Managers or designers can only do the right thing when they’ve built things themselves. Building could involve writing code or creating a prototype- the point is to build what you think should exist in the world. At pathao, we don’t view the making process as a low level task- it is at the heart of what we do. The best leaders are builders, not just managers.

We believe kindness, as a personal trait is important and underrated. We want our people to be smart and driven but also be kind and have empathy for others. Without empathy and shared understanding, teams don’t function well. Thus, we encourage this.
WALK THE TALK
We respect people who get down in the trenches and takes a hands-on approach to problem solving. Standing far away and barking orders might work for the military, but here at pathao we promote getting involved.

Learning is important in every field, especially in the technology industry- it is a matter of life and death. Technology and processes are changing all the time. We respect folks who question how things are done and come up with better ways. Nothing here is fixed. We learn and evolve.
A great team is built with a group of people who have complementary skill sets. A combination of different strengths make teams that can tackle all kinds of situations.
